2019 Maple Syrup Days

MAPLE SYRUP DAYS | MANY SAPS AND MAPLE TAPS

Learn how maple syrup was harvested and processed 150 years ago compared to today. We will explore how sap is used around the world to make medicine, beverages, rubber and more. Visitors will observe the collection of sap, watch as it's boiled down and drawn off into maple syrup inside our sugar shed using a modern-day wood-stoked evaporator. The tour concludes inside for everyone to enjoy mini-waffles topped with real maple syrup, and a taste of some real maple cream! After your tour, purchase maple syrup products from the Troy Historic Village’s Gift Shop.
